Emmett “Sabre” Reedy is a Submariner. His tattoo roots can be traced back to his U.S. Navy days. He was “masted” by his command and tattooed himself while being restricted to the boat. Shortly after, he was tattooing at good ol’ Scallywags. Learning the proper way of tattooing, Sabre developed a love for the craft. He Later left the Navy to pursue the arts, Idolizing tattoo history and the forefathers of modern-day tattooing. He has gathered and incorporated traditions, styles and techniques that deliver the best tattoo.

Age Requirements
Minimum Age
You must be 18 years or older to be tattooed in the state of Connecticut.
Minors (Ages 16–17)
Minors may be tattooed only with a parent or legal guardian present and all required documentation provided.
Important Notes for Minors
Tattooing a minor is at the artist’s discretion after consulting with both the minor and parent/ guardian.
We do not tattoo anyone under 18 on the following areas:
Hands, Neck, Face, Private areas
Accepted Identification
Please bring one of the following:
A current, government-issued photo ID. (Driver’s license, state ID, or passport)
OR
A birth certificate plus a valid photo ID
Required Documentation for Minors
Minors must provide:
Non-expired photo ID or birth certificate (with matching photo ID)
Parent or legal guardian’s valid photo ID
If names or addresses differ between the parent/guardian and minor, additional documentation may be required.

Tattoo pricing is unique to each project and depends on:
Size, Level of detail, Placement on the body, Time required, Artist’s method and approach

Aftercare
Your artist will go over specific aftercare instructions.
For best results, follow these general guidelines:
Immediate Care
Remove bandage after 1 hour
Wash gently with mild soap and water
Pat dry — do not re-bandage
Apply a thin layer of unscented lotion 2–3 times daily
Healing Period
No swimming or soaking of any kind for 2 weeks
Avoid saltwater, pools, lakes, sand, and direct sun
Showers are fine — no soaking
Do not pick or scratch the tattoo
No sunblock on fresh tattoos (use only after fully healed)
